Your account and synchronization

Apple provides an account identifier and, if shared, an email address. Our backend, hosted with The Vibe Hosting, stores your food diary, food memory and custom instructions, settings, chat history and compacted conversation context to synchronize your devices and continue conversations. We process this functional account data to provide the service you request. Chat continuity is separate from optional copies for review by the author. Authorized administrators operate the service; its databases are not public.

Optional AI and Apple Health

AI requires a separate, initially unselected permission. If enabled, OpenAI processes your dictated or live voice, text, selected photos, relevant diary entries, food memory, instructions and conversation context. Requested coaching can include nutrition, energy, activity, workouts, weight, heart-rate or sleep summaries obtained with your Apple Health permissions. This may include sensitive health information. We rely on your explicit consent for optional AI processing of these data. You can withdraw it in Settings → Your privacy; new AI work stops and active voice sessions close. A request already sent may finish processing. Overview, manual entry and account deletion remain available without AI.

Web search uses general food/product queries; visiting source pages is part of research. We do not intentionally put account identifiers or personal Health summaries into search queries. Our server does not archive audio or photos; they pass through for processing. Analyzed image descriptions and transcribed text may remain in your functional chat history. We send model requests with storage disabled. According to OpenAI's API policy, API data is not used for model training by default; abuse-monitoring data may normally be retained up to 30 days, with stated legal/security exceptions. Provider processing, caching and international transfers follow its policies; this is not a promise of zero retention. See OpenAI API data controls and OpenAI privacy policy.

Apple Health access is a separate system permission on each device. Local Health overview and writing our own meal records do not require cloud Health-summary storage. A separate optional switch permits storing daily Health summaries in your cloud account for cross-device features. It is off until you choose it; withdrawing it stops uploads and removes stored summary records. Copies already incorporated into a requested AI conversation remain part of that chat until account deletion. We do not sell Health data or use it for advertising. Trainer access is not active in this release.

Optional review, usage and public food facts

You may separately allow the author to review copies of conversation transcripts and text requests/responses to improve the app. This is off by default and not required for AI or sync. Copies expire within 30 days; withdrawing this permission removes the review copies from the active database. Functional chat history is retained for conversation continuity. Technical usage metadata, token counts, provider response identifiers, credit transactions and estimated costs support billing and troubleshooting while the account exists. Observed IP addresses are kept for at most 30 days to prevent abuse. Accounts and addresses can be blocked for security.

Source-backed public product names, nutrition per 100 g and public web source links may be retained in a shared food catalog. Private meal logs, serving sizes, photographs, personal recipes and account identifiers are not copied into it. These public facts are not associated with your account.

Deletion, retention and your choices

Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account, or Account and privacy on Apple Watch. Fresh verification with the same Apple account confirms permanent deletion. We revoke Apple authorization, delete the account and its diary, settings, memory, chat/context, uploaded Health summaries, review transcripts and account-linked usage data. All sessions lose access. This device clears its account cache; other devices do so when they next connect. Offline devices cannot be remotely erased immediately.

Your personal Apple Health records remain in Apple Health and can be managed there. Remaining credits are forfeited; deletion does not automatically refund purchases. Apple handles payment and refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. We keep unlinked transaction receipts to prevent duplicate redemption and handle refund notifications, and minimal deletion markers/session-token hashes to prevent deleted data from being restored. Those records contain no diary, email, Apple subject, chat or Health content. Our restricted backups are scrubbed or retired within 7 days; restoring backups must reapply deletion markers before serving users. Provider security/legal retention is governed by its own policy.

You can request access, export, correction or restriction of your personal data at the contact above and withdraw optional permissions in the app. Where applicable, you may complain to your data-protection authority, including the Czech ÚOOÚ. We use access controls, authenticated encrypted network connections and restricted backups; no system is risk-free. Hosting and AI providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA under their applicable transfer safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

Service and credits

Nutrition and projected weight changes are estimates, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Check automatically saved portions and values and edit them if needed. AI consumes 500 credits per USD of estimated provider cost, including transcription, model/cache usage, web search and compaction. Live voice uses 25 credits per minute plus delegated model/tool usage. Photos are part of model input cost, not a second flat charge. New accounts receive 300 welcome credits. Credits are service units, not money. Packs are one-time consumable App Store purchases at the local price displayed before payment; purchased credits do not expire while the account exists and synchronize between your devices. At zero credit, AI pauses; existing data and manual features remain available. Refunds may remove the corresponding credits. Do not abuse the service or use it unlawfully. Material changes to optional data processing require a renewed choice.
